Kelly Haddow

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Kelly Haddow began her dance training at Columbus Youth Ballet before continuing her education at Columbus City Ballet School and Columbus Dance Theatre. She furthered her training through summer intensives with Cincinnati Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Joffrey Ballet Chicago, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where she had the opportunity to study a wide variety of ballet and contemporary techniques.

Kelly earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Public Health and Global Studies from Purdue University, along with a minor in Dance. During her time at Purdue, she performed in a faculty work selected for the American College Dance Association and served as Co-Director of X Series, a student- and faculty-choreographed performance initiative that celebrated new works and emerging artists.

Following graduation, Kelly spent a year in Thailand as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, where she taught English to primary-aged students while fostering cross-cultural learning and communication. She now works at a behavioral health nonprofit in Columbus and is excited to combine her love of dance and education as she returns to Columbus Dance Theatre!
