At Columbus Dance Theatre, we take pride in modeling after a performing arts school, where performance is a vital part of each student’s training experience. In addition to their comprehensive and rigorous dance education, students have the unique opportunity to participate in four professionally produced performances throughout the year. These include a student-led Halloween Production, our beloved Annual Holiday Production, Wonderment, presented in collaboration with CDT’s Professional Company, a student-led Spring Showcase, and a celebratory Year-End Performance. These productions not only highlight each dancer’s growth and artistry but also foster confidence, stage presence, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
Columbus Dance Theatre’s Young Children’s Division (YCD) welcomes students as young as 2 years old, with our Intensive Training Program (ITP) beginning at age 10 for those seeking advanced training.
